ProofPilot supports tasks that are participant self service as well as those that require a participant and a study professional to interact in real time.
But, what about tasks in which a study professional needs to review material submitted by a participant? This might be an image or file you need a professional to review to make the data more usable. Or, it could be
That's where Administrative Tasks (Participant Specific) come in. Study designers may trigger a task that shows previously collected participant data that a study professional must review and interpret as part of the study protocol.
Setting up one of these study tasks is easy.
First, choose a "Blank Survey" Measurement Task Type.
Second, Consider the data you'd like the study professional to submit. Enter the questions and validations as you normally would. `
Finally, Identify the previous study tasks that the study professional must see to answer those questions.
As you get to the "Who & Where" step of the study task set up process, choose "Administrative Task - Participant Specific)"
Once you've done so, three additional options become available:
- Access prior tasks: Choose the prior tasks that include data you would like to present to the study professional so they may appropriately answer the questions/submit the data identified.
- Choose collaborators: Choose the study professionals on your team who will be responsible for reviewing the prior tasks and answering the questions. These individuals will receive an e-mail notification whenever new data is ready for review and assessment.
- Show participant contact info: In most cases all data should remain anonymous or confidential. However, there are situations in which you may want to show participant contact information. This would include situations where you may be recruiting a participant into a study and need to make a telephone call to arrange a study visit. Or it may include information for an adverse event follow up. Use this feature responsibly.
Use rules to trigger this administrative "Do It" task for study professionals as is appropriate.
When the task activates, study professionals will receive a notification and will be directed to their task list to complete the task.
